Some of our past Studio17 & BlueBelles models:-

We have been supplying the best models since August 1993
.... and here are some of them ....

< Emma B

We discovered Emma B in Bexhill's De La Warr Pavilion in April 1994 when she entered a modelling contest which was co-sponsored by Studio 17.
But even before the event had started, Martin saw her walking through the foyer and said "one day she will be a supermodel".
She won Elite-Premier's Look of the Year in July 1995 and became a supermodel at the age of 15.

Jane (a.k.a. Gladiator Rio) >

Janie Omerogbe was on our books in 1994 when she entered first Miss Wessex and then as a contestant for Gladiators, where she was spotted and became the Gladiator "Rio".

< Estella Amara

Estella has asked us to remove the dates off this page, but suffice it to say we 'discovered' and sponsored her having signed her to martin enterprises-Studio 17 licenced modelling agency the year after we had found Emma B.   And Martin was so confident she was going to be a supermodel, he had already written the press releases when she also went to Elite.
We continue to wish her every success in her chosen carer.

Ellen Burgess >

Ellen Burgess did photographic vocational experience with Martin in 1994.
She returned in 1997 to exhibit some of her work in Martin's studio and he invited her to be a model.
Rapidly excelling in catwalking, she became one of Studio 17's trainers and helped organise a big fashion show for the Prince's Trust in Brighton in 1998.
About the same time she entered and won a national model contest organised by MOT agency and Midland Bank.

< Laura Churchill

Laura Churchill applied to join Studio 17 in 1998 and Martin was keen to sign her because of her striking red hair.
Over the next year she worked at her image and in 1999 beat off thousands of competitors to win T.V.s Big Breakfast's "Find me a Model" contest.

Leah Newman >

Leah Newman joined Studio 17 in September 2000 after winning Miss Hastings 2 years running.
She has been a Jordan "Pit-Stop" girl, she is a Page 3 model in The Sun, has presented TV programmes and is in the film "Alfie"

< Marie Stevens

Marie Stevens won the "Miss Bexhill Bathing Belle" contest in 2001 sponsored by Studio 17 to publicise the fact that Bexhill was the first place in Britain to allow mixed sea bathing in 1901.
Studio 17 models also staged a fashion show of swim wear over the preceding centenary at the same time.

Maria Willson >

Maria Willson joined Studio 17 in 1997.
In 1999 she auditioned as a contestant for Michael Barrymore's "My kind of music" on TV. & he was so taken with her singing that he decided to give her top billing as a singer instead.
Having been contracted to a music agent, she eventually signed her first big contract with Telstar releasing her first single "Chooza Looza" in 2003 which entered the charts in the top 40

< Gemma Hickman (George)

Gemma also worked with Martin on work experience in 2000 when he signed her onto Studio 17's books.
In 2003 a music promoter contacted Studio 17 seeking models with ambition to become a singer, and although she didn't fill the particular job, her demo C.D. was heard by a record producer and since then she has been laying down tracks on her first album.
The test recording she has released has received so much airplay on local radio stations she has been busy travelling the country giving interviews etc.
