Flamenco

With the swirling skirts, stamping of feet and rhythmic clapping, Sevillana dancing epitomises Spain.

These photos were taken at a show in Rojales as part of the annual romeria - pilgrimage - to celebrate San Isidro's day and is rather like a big village fete that takes place in the local park with people camping out over the weekend.

The dancers are all from a local dance school, Sofia Sanchez, and its nice to see the younger ones watching the older ones too.
