Cartagena fiestas

Throughout September, Cartagena re-enacts various events from its history.

These photos were taken during 2014 with the Cartagenians behaving 'normally' before Hannibal marches in to town and enrols everyone in his army to march on Rome during the second punic war in 218 BC - which left the town exposed for the Romans to sail in.
