International Artist Day - 2010  
Art auction at El Corazón hotel  

Teaming up with a local Spanish charity - Paul Cunningham Nurses - a grand art auction was planned at a Rojales hotel.

Spurred on by the worthiness of the cause, 35 artists eagerly exhibited over 120 original works of art from watercolours to acrylics and pastels to oils.

Viewing took place throughout the day with various artists giving demonstrations of portraiture, oil painting and life drawing.

However when it came to the auction it was clear that recession had taken its toll...
... although there were many artists, friends and supporters it seemed unfortunately that the buyers had generally stayed at home!
