Sue Butler

(Artist name - Susan Margharita)

Susan was born in Cheshire, England.

She attended Ellesmere Port Grammar School for Girls where her main interest was art. She then attended Chester Art College before becoming an airline stewardess in 1972, going on to join Sussex Police in 1993.

Susan continued to paint throughout her working life, but before leaving England in 2004 to live in Spain her love for art was totally re-kindled by well known Brighton artist Meredith Namsoo, who's work is known world-wide.
Susan concentrated her efforts in water colour for over 15 years under Meredith's guidance.

Susan has been very successful exhibiting her work at various locations throughout Sussex, including the Royal Society of Sussex Artists at Christs Hospital School where she sold much of her work.
She also exhibited at Arundel Castle, Susart Worthing, with Brenda Brooks, The Weald Group, Burgess Hill, and Shoreham Art Society.
From these many exhibitions her work has been sold in many countries via the UK.

Whilst living in Spain she has exhibited at El Corte Ingles (La Mujer en la Pintura) - Procomobel in association with Paul Cunningham Nurses, Casa Pedera (Grand Designs House) and Cuevos del Rodeo in Rojales.

She joined Marina Art Group in July 2010 run by Susanne Sayers and has been introduced to the art of acrylics, which she thoroughly enjoys.
She also attends Life Drawing with Martin Robinson.

As you can see from her work she is very versatile.

Sheila Ransom

Sheila was born in Portsmouth.

As a child Sheila was always fond of pencil drawing and even at the tender age of 11 used to do commissions, and was selling her work so as to earn her pocket money.
She was able to replicate the likes of Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Hayley Mills and Audrey Hepburn to name but a few.

She went on to study at Brighton Technical College and became a secretary, but her love of drawing continued.
From there she then joined the Lucy Clayton Modelling Academy and was therefore introduced to fashion and design which once again re-kindled her interest in art.

In 1998 she was fortunate enough to be accepted in to an art group held by a well known Brighton artist Meredith Namsoo.

Whilst in the UK her work was exhibited in the Penn Gallery, Eastbourne, and also the Royal Society of Sussex Artists, and many other locations.

Sheila then came to live in Spain and with her wealth of experience she earned herself 5th place in La Mujer en la Pintura - Elche - El Corte Ingles in 2011.

Sheila is able to undertake portrait commissions for both people and animals.
